Courthouse Arts & Gallery Centre

The Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery is the town’s cultural hub, showcasing the Pilbara’s diverse creative talent. Exhibitions feature artworks from a range of national, local and regional artists, with social events, workshops and creative development programs running alongside. The gallery also hosts a beautiful retail space, featuring unique homewares, gift items and handmade jewellery from Australian makers. In the often harsh Hedland environment, the Gallery offers locals and visitors an essential cultural outlet, with opportunities for artistic and social engagement.

The Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery also hosts the West End Markets, the Pilbara’s largest maker’s market. Held four times a year, the Markets are an opportunity for local makers to showcase their crafts and are a popular social event for the community.
